Thirlmere
Thirlmere is one of the less busy areas of the Lake District, usually a view seen from the car as you travel between the tourist centres of Keswick and Ambleside, but the lake provides some stunning views and if you get there at the right time you may see low level flypasts of military aircraft. This 5-mile circular route provides stunning views of the lake and surrounding fells.
Loweswater
Loweswater is one of the smaller of the lakes in the Lakes District and is not as busy as the neighbouring lakes at Buttermere and Crummock Water. This 4 mile circular route provides stunning views of the lake and surrounding fells.
Ennerdale Water
Ennerdale Water is the most westerly lake of the Lake District and a Site of Special Scientific Interest. It is also one of the most remote of the lakes in the Lakes District and the only one without a road running around it. .
