Probably one of the most iconic of Lake District images but it’s always worth a trip to Blea Tarn early in the morning to catch the reflections in the still water before the wind starts to pick up. This panorama was stitched together from 8 separate photographs to capture the detail in the shot. The surface of the tarn was perfectly still providing stunning reflections of the fells and Langdale Pikes.
