Castlerigg Stone Circle
from £100.00
LD8704
Sunrise at the Castlerigg Stone Circle near Keswick. The circle is believed to have been created in around 3000BC during the Neolithic period, making it older than Stonehenge. I arrived early in the morning just after sunrise to get this image of the stones in the warm light of the morning. Many of the sheep were still sleeping !
